Jeff Nielsen brings over a decade of specialized experience in CAPEX and OPEX procurement, having held critical roles at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Amgen, and a California-based life sciences general contractor. His background includes procurement management, strategic sourcing, and contract review coordination for large-scale capital projects within highly regulated environments.

 

Jeff has led the end-to-end sourcing of long-lead equipment, specialized technical services, and construction packages, consistently aligning procurement strategy with project execution, compliance, and financial performance. With deep expertise across the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, Jeff has supported procurement functions from early-stage budgeting through final contract closeout.

 

His roles have spanned procurement manager and buyer responsibilities, as well as detailed review and negotiation of Master Services Agreements, scopes of work, NDAs, and commercial terms. Jeff’s ability to combine operational precision with strategic contract analysis makes him a trusted resource for clients seeking to de-risk supplier engagements and drive procurement value on complex life sciences projects.
